Day 10
Weather: cold
Had a day of lesson and we headed to the laundry shop opposite our school to collect some laundry. The shop owner is a very friendly person and he even helped Dean to sew his pants without any extra charge.
After that, we walked down the street trying to look for something to eat for lunch. There was a stall on the roadside selling noodles so we decided to try it out. While waiting for the noodles, there was a puppy running around the place and there was an old man telling the stall owner that he wants to eat dog meat. When we heard that all of us was so shocked but we did not do anything because the man just walked away after the stall owner told the man that he have a heart. A few minutes later, the man came back with two huge dogs and the dogs started chasing after the puppy. I felt so scared and worried that they would harm the puppy but there was nothing I could do. At that moment I was so disappointed with the man and agreed on the saying that people in china eats whatever that is crawling on the ground no matter what they are.
The puppy was hiding in a small corner of the street where the huge dogs were trying their best to get in. The huge dogs finally got in and I was panicking until I saw the two dogs playing with the puppy. At that moment I understood that don’t judge a person by just what they say. What we hear might not be what we see, what we see might not be what is happening. So never assume because you would be making an ASS out of U and ME.
Tomorrow we will be going for a visit and I’m looking forward to it, hope that I would be able to make great tea after tomorrow’s tea making lesson!
