Day 14

Weather: Freezing

Activity: APPG, Chinese Philosophy

During today’s Chinese philosophy lesson, I’ve learnt lot of lessons today. I’d like to share some of the things I’ve learnt.

1. Set your own goals, don’t feel sad or disappointed because you are unable to be at other people’s standard. This is because everyone has their own abilities.

2. Don’t have to look down or admire other people’s life because everyone has their own way of living.

3. Sometimes, we must think out of the box. Things can be done in many ways instead of the usual ways. Originality J

4. Must know how to identify which one is the reality.

5. As long as it is natural, that is the best. We find the way the locals speak weird, but to them, they feel that the way we speak is weird because it is not natural to them.

6. We should not use our own mindset to change others because everyone has different mindset.

7. When a cup is full, there is no way one can add more water into the cup because it will overflow. Similarly, if our mind is full of our own mindset and thoughts, there would be no room for other people’s suggestions.

Courtesy

1. When meeting each other we must greet. Some people would shake their hands.

2. When walking with elderly, it is a form of courtesy to walk slightly behind them.

3. When sitting, we have to maintain a good posture.

4. When eating, the most respected person would sit facing the door.

5. When using chopsticks don’t use it to point at people and it is rude to use the tip of the chopstick to poke the food.

Hope everyone learn something from today’s lesson too! :D
