Day 8
Weather: Cold
Mood: sad
Felt really down today after watching the news in the conditions in Japan last night. Out of a sudden, all this earthquake and tsunami happened without any warning causing so many lives lost and left so many people homeless. I felt so sorry for them but there was nothing I can do. Already feeling very sad, Mr Chua shared with the class about the news on Japan’s nuclear plant have exploded and it might affect not only Japan, it might also affect parts of Asia. My heart totally dropped after knowing this.
Life is really short and I cannot predict what might happen next. So all of us should live like there is no tomorrow, so that we would not have any regrets in life. Japan is such a well developed country but when nature disasters take place, there is nothing much they can do.
We had APPG for the whole day and Mr Lung dropped by our school to check on us. Really thank him for helping us with the do the planning and coordinating, we also have to thank Mr Tan and Mr Chua for taking care of us during this trip. APPG lesson is very interesting because Mr Chua is always trying to cheer us up such that we won’t fall asleep.
After school we went to Vangard supermarket to buy some daily needs and headed to the back street near our hotel to eat our dinner. The street food is nicer than those found in school and the restaurants. Not only that, the shop owners are also more friendly.
Will be having half a day of lesson and will be heading out to do some shopping. Not sure where we are going yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
To my encourager:
Hahahah! I don’t mind!! Don’t take it to heart (:
Everything is fine so no worries (: you have to wear more clothes too alright? Take care!
